Zyliant™ is a neurohealth screening tool completed on an ipad. If a participant’s scores are outside the expected range, they will receive a recommendation to follow up with a cognitive care specialist or neurologist for proper evaluation. Routine screening may lead to earlier detection of disease. By receiving proactive medical care, the trajectory of decline may be interrupted, which may lead to longer independent living, a lighter burden on caregivers, and more time to arrange for assistance.

Movement Tests

Five Times Sit to Stand

The FTSTS measures functional lower limb muscle strength to assess fall risk.

Timed Up-and-Go

The TUG measures functional mobility, which is an indicator of your risk of falling and ability to maintain balance while walking.

Vocal biomarkers

With only 40 seconds of conversational speech the assessment compares your vocal biomarkers to predictive data models in order to screen for

Alzheimer’s

Mild Cognitive Impairment

Anxiety

Depression

Fade

Fade measures contrast sensitivity, or your ability to distinguish objects as their brightness or darkness becomes similar to their surroundings. Contrast sensitivity is important in preventing falls.

MOB

MOB (multiple object tracking) measures your ability to track multiple moving objects in space, and maintain a mental index of those objects when they are obscured. This is critical for balance, focus, and spatial awareness.

Pounce

Pounce measures saccades and reaction time, or the speed in which your eyes detect a new object, and then how fast your neuro-motor response can control your finger distinguishing the dot . Visual and neurological-motor reaction time is critical for performance in numerous daily activities.

Questionnaires

These 10 questions help gauge the severity and frequency of symptoms/behaviors which could be indicative of a cognitive concern.

PHQ-8

These 8 questions create a medically validated scale used to screen for depression in American epidemiological populations.

GAD-7

These 7 questions create a medically validated scale for measuring anxiety.
